Beautiful You, Today & Everyday
What Are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers made their debut in the 1970s. The most popular kind of dermal filler is Hyaluronic Acid, a soft, gel-like substance that helps enhance and contour facial features and correct asymmetry.
Dermal fillers are carefully chosen according to their unique properties to meet the desired aesthetic outcome, making them versatile for different indications, such as, smoothing lines and wrinkles such as marionette lines, correcting hollowness of the tear trough, improving the appearance of nasolabial folds, plumping and shaping lips, volumizing and contouring the cheeks, chin and jawline.
Our skin loses elasticity and moisture with age, with dermal fillers is safely possible to restore volume loss, hydration and soften the visible signs of aging.
At Capital Aesthetics, we use top Health Canada and FDA approved dermal filler brands only.

The Treatment Process
A syringe or a cannula is used by our expert injector to administer dermal fillers. The cannula method involves injecting the filler through a small tube called a cannula in order to prevent bruising and swelling during treatment.
Depending on the type of dermal filler used and the desired appearance, the quantity, position, and depth of injections will differ.
A local anesthetic known as lidocaine is included in dermal fillers to make the procedure more comfortable. Numbing cream is also available at our clinic for added comfort.
After the dermal filler is injected, results are instant and an ice pack will be given after treatment to help reduce any swelling that may occur.
