The Treatment Process
The process is very simple. A small amount of Botulinum toxin (type A) is injected into the lips using a fine needle by our highly trained injector. The Injections will relax the muscles in the lips, which will cause them to flip outward. The results are immediate and can last for up to six months.
The best part about the lip flip treatment is that it is a relatively painless procedure. You will feel a slight pinch when the needle is injected, but that is about it. There is no downtime required, so you can go about your day as usual after the treatment.

The difference between Neuromodulator Injections such as Botox and lip fillers is that Neuromodulator Injections injections will cause the lips to flip outward while fillers will add volume and fullness to the lips. Botox, Dysport or Nuceiva temporarily paralyzes the muscles that cause the lips to roll outward while fillers are substances such as collagen or hyaluronic acid that are injected into the lips to add volume.
-Avoid sucking on hard candy or chewing gum, as this can cause the product to wear off faster.
-Avoid eating anything that might cause you to drool, such as crunchy vegetables or ice chips.
-Use a lip balm or gloss to keep your lips hydrated.
A lip flip can last anywhere from 3-5 months. The results are instant and you enjoy your beautiful new lips right away. You may experience some swelling and bruising but this is completely normal and will disappear in a few days. You may ice the area to reduce swelling.
